The 18-minute video clip- a short documentary talks about one of the world problems namely ‘world obesity crises the world faces today. This audiovisual report covered large areas of the issues and problems as well as some important solutions and the Australian government’s awareness campaigns and warnings.
The report has detailed about why sugar is the main cause and how it is increasing deadly toxins and fat into the food products, particularly those products we purchase from the supermarkets.
It also said that consuming sugar into food products begun to rise from the 1970s and a lot of commercial TV advertisements have also encouraged both food-producers and customers. Therefore it was said to be a “Win-Win” for everyone, particularly for food producers. On the other hand, they also found an easy way to produce more low-cost food products which contained a lot more sugars.
During that time, food-producers across the world faced very little opposition with only a few campaigns and some sort of a few lone protests against those who are responsible. The “American Heart Association” was one of the few and it has tried to demonstrate the obesity crises and issued a couple of warnings claiming “diabetes” diseases have already increased to “triple.”
Interestingly, with their strong emotions, a few experts have shared their views and expressed about the dangers of increasing obesity across the world. They also found that 30% sugar with many food products and as well as many soft-drinks and the amount was increasing for the last several decades. One expert also said too much sugar and fat in foods and soft-drinks will gradually cause major diseases such as cancer and diabetes. Many fruits also contain their own sugar and saying “not all calories are equal and physical exercises are believed to be positive to reduce obesity but one expert says sometimes “exercises makes you only hungry.”
However, over the last 30 years, obesity foods are driving the crises further away and helping to increase food addiction, like smoking or sugar. It also looks like the crisis one day become beyond under control if the world will reach a stage where it’s already too late to react.
Finally, the report also talks about some of the most recent developments concerning the ongoing world obesity crisis and it has slightly praised the Australian government for conducting several awareness campaigns, including issuing reports and warning the public about the dangers of the crisis. The prevalence of overweight and obesity is increasing in nearly every country around the world. Research shows too many people suffer from obesity and don't exercise enough, putting themselves at risks of many diseases.
